This week’s 1 Million Cups presenter will be Matthew Cain of 5041 CyBear Robotics, a STEM and robotics program serving students at West Branch Community Schools. Founded in 2014, 5041 gives students the opportunity to work with real-world design and manufacturing processes while developing the skills and experience needed to become future STEM leaders. The program has grown to impact hundreds of students and the broader community through robotics, outreach, and hands-on learning. In 2026, both West Branch Community Schools and Matthew were recognized by FIRST for their efforts to expand access to FIRST programs. During his presentation, Matthew will share more about 5041, its impact on students, and what he has learned from building the program.
