This week’s 1 Million Cups presenter will be Iowa City Robotics, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making robotics education accessible, inspiring, and impactful for students across Eastern Iowa. Formed to support FIRST Robotics Competition Team 167, the oldest active high school robotics team in Iowa, the organization has grown to offer year-round STEM opportunities through robotics teams, Junior Bots camps, and other K-12 programs. During their presentation, they’ll share how Iowa City Robotics is preparing the next generation of problem-solvers by connecting students with hands-on robotics experiences and STEM professionals from across the community.
1 Million Cups is a free, nationwide program designed to educate, engage, and accelerate early-stage startups. We believe in the notion that entrepreneurs can discover solutions and thrive when they collaborate over a million cups of coffee. Drop in our community of innovators and entrepreneurship enthusiasts to connect and support our local startups. Community members are welcome to attend even if they are not an entrepreneur. Every Wednesday, 9 to 10am. Always free and open to the public. No registration required.
