1MC Iowa City: Joint Meetup with 1MC-Cedar Rapids

Description

This week, 1 Million Cups Iowa City is joining 1 Million Cups Cedar Rapids for a special joint meetup at Tin Roost in North Liberty. The morning will feature presentations from two Iowa-based organizations, including a presentation from 5041 CyBear Robotics, a FIRST Robotics team from West Branch Community Schools. Matthew Cain will share more about the program, which gives students hands-on experience in robotics, design, and manufacturing while building skills through competition and community outreach. We’ll also hear from Beau Laundry Co. and 2026 ENTREFest Pitch Competition winner Alex Beaumier, who will share their winning presentation and perspective on the ENTREFest experience.

The morning will also include announcements about ENTREFest 2027, along with giveaways for attendees. Come early at 8:15 AM for coffee, breakfast, and networking before presentations begin at 9:00 AM.

1 Million Cups is a free, nationwide program designed to educate, engage, and accelerate early-stage startups. We believe in the notion that entrepreneurs can discover solutions and thrive when they collaborate over a million cups of coffee.
