This week’s 1 Million Cups presenters will be Dr. Dunbar and Scott Flaherty from Prairie Rose Family Medicine, who will share how their practice is transforming healthcare through a more personalized, patient-centered approach. Prairie Rose Family Medicine operates under a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, which allows providers to maintain a smaller patient panel and spend more meaningful time with each individual. During the presentation, they will highlight how this model enables more accessible, relationship-driven care through features like same- or next-day appointments, direct communication with a physician by phone, text, or email, and longer, more comprehensive visits. They'll also discuss the inspiration behind Prairie Rose Family Medicine, the benefits of the DPC model, and how their approach is improving health outcomes by prioritizing connection, trust, and continuity of care.

Apply & Present at 1 Million Cups: Companies that are less than 5 years old and open to community engagement can apply to present at a 1MC event. All industries welcome. The application takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed, and the community organizers will get back to you with any follow-up questions. You'll work together to schedule a presentation date. Sharing your business at a 1MC event gives you the opportunity to connect with an active and engaged community of fellow entrepreneurs. 

• Refine your presentation and elevator pitch. 
• Join a community to receive support, including coaching from 1MC organizers. 
• Continue to present your business -- in another city or after you have made significant changes.
• Receive feedback from a diverse audience. 
• Potentially gain exposure to new markets and people. 
• Potentially receive local, regional or national media coverage of your startup. 

You'll have 6-10 minutes to tell your community who you are, what you're doing and why you're doing it. After your presentation, there will be a 20-minute Q&A session that will give you the opportunity to connect with your audience, culminating with the million-dollar question: "What can we as a community do to help you?"
