Business Succession Planning Session

Planning for the future of your business is one of the most important steps you can take to ensure its long-term success and sustainability. Whether you are considering passing your business to family, selling to employees, or preparing for retirement, having a clear succession plan is critical. 

The Iowa City Downtown District and Greater Iowa City Inc., in partnership with Advance Iowa from University of Northern Iowa (UNI), invites you to a resource session designed to help our business owners and managers explore strategies, tools, and support for business succession planning. The session will work with the experts from Advance Iowa to provide strategies to consider to develop a seamless business transition plan while preserving your company’s legacy and financial health. 

Advance Iowa will present on business succession planning. Following the session, attendees will gain access to a variety of free services, including business valuation, business driver assessment, ESOP feasibility studies, and employee ownership options tailored to their business.

Registration is required and limited to 25 participants. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.
