Community Leadership Program Alumni 30th Anniversary Program

CLP Alumni Micro-Session: Agriculture & Environment

Friday, May 14, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (CDT)

Description

Join us for the eighth event in our CLP 30th Anniversary Alumni Program, Agriculture & Environment: Get Outside and Eat Local!

Johnson County is rich with local foods. Join a panel of area businesses and nonprofits to learn more about our local food system, and hear about fun new ways you and your family can get outside and eat locally this summer. Paul Rasch from Wilson's Orchard and Kristy Walker from Walker Homestead will share updates from their farms, and Michelle Kenyon, Director of Field to Family, will talk about the online Farmer's Market and what her organization is doing to make local foods more accessible.

Panelists:

Stick around after the presentation to catch up with your classmates, and learn about the upcoming CLP 30th Birthday Parties.

The $15 registration fee includes a $10 credit towards a delivery from one of our restaurant members through CHOMP Delivery. Chomp has also provided free delivery! Each code is valid only during the day of the event.

This event is specifically for alumni of the Community Leadership Program.

We are unable to provide refunds for this program, but the informational portion will be recorded and shared with all registrants after the event.
