CLP Alumni Micro-Session: Human Services

Community Leadership Program Alumni 30th Anniversary Program

CLP Alumni Micro-Session: Human Services

Friday, January 15, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (CST)

Join us for the fourth event in our CLP 30th Anniversary Alumni Program, "Impact of the Pandemic Through the Human Services Perspective."

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted vulnerable populations in our community. In this time of economic hardship and physical and mental distress, human services and community-based organizations are needed more than ever. And, despite increasing client needs, many are experiencing the challenges of declining resources and reimagining service delivery during a pandemic. In this Human Services Micro-Session, learn from human service organization leaders about the need, the response, the challenges and how to help.

  • Brian Loring - Executive Director, Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County
  • Ally Hanten - Chief Programs Officer, United Action for Youth
  • Cindy Hewitt - Director of Services, CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank

Stick around after the presentation to catch up with your classmates!
