Each year the Iowa City Area Business Partnership and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance join forces at the ICR Night at the Capitol in Des Moines. On Wednesday March 8th, a contingent will head to the Iowa State Capitol to connect directly with state legislators. We invite our members to join us for an opportunity to advocate for our regional public policy priorities. 

Here are our 2023 Public Policy Priorities:

 -Welcome Workers from All Populations

 -Enhance Community Attraction & Livability Efforts

 -Regain Educational Leader Status & Invest in the Future Workforce

 -Close the Opportunity Gap & Remove Barriers to Employment 

-Embrace Solutions Utilizing Technology & Natural Resources 

-Promote and Incentivize Business Growth
