Lone Tree Listening Post: Housing & Development

Greater Iowa City, Inc. (Greater IC) and Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition are launching a Listening Posts Series in rural communities. Spearheaded by Sarah Thompson of Greater IC and Jessica Andino of Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition, the series creates spaces to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of rural development and housing in Johnson County. 

The first event in Lone Tree will focus on housing and development. Participants include: Tyler Hotz (Lone Tree Community School District), Rod Sullivan (Johnson County), Jon Green (Johnson County), Scott Hawes (Habitat for Humanity), Jeff Kellbach (Johnson County), Julie Chown (Realtor), and more! 

The public is invited to enjoy complimentary coffee, voice questions, share insights, and connect. The participation of community members, business owners, and community leaders is invaluable as the path forward is shaped for rural areas. All are encouraged to come together to build a stronger, more vibrant community.
