October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a time dedicated to promoting inclusive employment practices and raising awareness about the contributions of individuals with disabilities in the workforce. This month highlights the importance of accessibility and equal opportunities, encouraging employers to recognize the skills and talents that people with disabilities bring to their organizations. By celebrating diversity and advocating for equitable hiring practices, NDEAM fosters a more inclusive environment for all workers.

The Employer's Council of Iowa - IowaWORKS is hosting a virtual webinar series throughout the month of October to educate attendees on important topics that are important to know and understand when hiring individuals with disabilities. 

This session will cover an introduction to Assistive Technology, available resources, and the implementation of assistive technology.
