The new Food Code requires one certified food protection manager per location in order to stay in compliance. ServSafe Certification meets this requirement. Due to increased demand, the Iowa Restaurant Association has added more ServSafe classes per month. Become ServSafe Certified! Cost includes eight hours of training, a ServSafe managers textbook manual (distributed in class), proctored exam and certification upon passing exam.
Time: 8:30 a.m. and will last all day. Proctored exam begins at approximately 3:30 p.m. 1-hour lunch break (microwave and refrigerator on-site, if needed) *Anyone wishing to attend a full class OR exam only MUST pre-register. Walk-ins not available.
