Attend the second of three events in this Solar Energy Breakfast Series! All three events will be hybrid-format for attendees to join in-person or online. If you are not attending in-person, you can find the zoom link HERE. 

The Johnson County Solar Task Force has officially launched, and we are kicking things off with a Solar Energy Breakfast Series! Attend these events for in-depth discussions regarding all things solar energy. Light breakfast will be provided to attendees. Registration is highly requested in order to accomodate breakfast needs. 

The Legislative Panel will answer questions such as: What happened at the state house this year, why, and what’s next? Do we have a new Community Solar program in Iowa?

This kick-off breakfast series includes these 3 events:

• Legislative Panel -  Thursday, May 15, 2025
• The Business Case - Thursday, June 12, 2025

About the Solar Task Force:

County businesses and solar energy advocates have come together to launch the Johnson County Solar Task Force. We work to advance solar energy in Johnson County through advocacy, outreach, accurate information dissemination, and other initiatives with the goal of 10% of the county’s energy produced by small-scale solar energy in 2035.
