The Bird House, Hospice Home of Johnson County is proud to present it's inaugural, legacy fundraiser and community event, Holiday Lights at the Lake. 

This new event, is a large drive through holiday light display and the first of its kind in the Iowa City area!  The light display will run every night Thanksgiving night thru New Year’s Eve and offers a walk-through opportunity each Wednesday (weather permitting). It will be held at the Coralville Lake West Overlook Campground in Iowa City.

On Tuesday, November 16th at 4:30pm we are having our Lighting Ceremony where we will “flip the switch” for the first time and turn on all the lights.  This event is limited to sponsors, volunteers and invited members of the press.  We would like to invite you to join us to experience a night filled with hot cocoa and cookies, a short program, mingling with community members, and our main event, FLIPPING the SWITCH on all the 30+ light displays!

Please note: attendees can park at West Overlook Campground, or down by the beach (there will be a shuttle). Please wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk through the lit path.
