This week’s 1 Million Cups presenter will be Megan Valencia from Valencia Bodywork! Valencia Bodywork is a wellness and bodywork practice in Iowa City, IA, where licensed therapist Megan Valencia helps clients reduce pain and improve mobility by releasing tension in the body’s fascia and working collaboratively on movement patterns. Her approach often incorporates techniques like the Rossiter Stretching method to address musculoskeletal issues and enhance overall physical function, with many clients reporting significant pain relief and restored movement.

Apply & Present at 1 Million Cups: Companies that are less than 5 years old and open to community engagement can apply to present at a 1MC event. All industries welcome. The application takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed, and the community organizers will get back to you with any follow-up questions. You'll work together to schedule a presentation date. Sharing your business at a 1MC event gives you the opportunity to connect with an active and engaged community of fellow entrepreneurs. 

• Refine your presentation and elevator pitch. 
• Join a community to receive support, including coaching from 1MC organizers. 
• Continue to present your business -- in another city or after you have made significant changes.
• Receive feedback from a diverse audience. 
• Potentially gain exposure to new markets and people. 
• Potentially receive local, regional or national media coverage of your startup. 

You'll have 6-10 minutes to tell your community who you are, what you're doing and why you're doing it. After your presentation, there will be a 20-minute Q&A session that will give you the opportunity to connect with your audience, culminating with the million-dollar question: "What can we as a community do to help you?"
