Since 2005, Summer of the Arts has hosted arts and cultural festivals for all ages. Summer of the Arts creates synergy with marketing, fundraising, and operations while maintaining the unique identity of each of the events. Summer of the Arts produces six FREE, family-friendly festivals from May - September including the Friday Night Concert Series, Iowa Arts Festival, Free Movie Series, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Soul & Blues Festival and Holiday Thieves Market.
